IF YOU HAVE MORE TIME

Become a star supporter of EFWM. Organize an event in support of EFWM. Invite EFWM staff and community members to your church, school, or organization.

    • Beloved Neighbor Training Program. EFWM invites community groups and congregations, to host Beloved Neighbors, a training program about history, race, and immigration. This training opens a space where your community and immigrants from rural NC can learn from each other, while reflecting about power and privilege in the context of our agricultural system. Participants will walk away with a new perspective about the issues faced by immigrants, and with new tools to enact positive social change. Contact us for more information.
    • Movie Night! We invite you to organize a movie night in your community or congregation in support of farmworkers and EFWM. Choose from a variety of movie options about immigration and agricultural workers. EFWM staff and community members will facilitate a discussion after the movie. Contact us for more information.
    • Host EFWM staff for a presentation about farmworker issues and our work. We can tailor our presentation to your needs or interests. Contact us for more information.
    • Organize an Hermano Day event in your congregation. Inspired by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cary, we invite you to organize an Hermano Day event, a day for your congregation to collect in-kind and financial donations for EFWM in preparation for the agricultural season. Invite EFWM staff and community members to give updates during the service announcements or during a separate presentation. Contact us for more information.
